Alexandra Busto
Alex Busto is a senior associate in Nixon Peabody’s Healthcare practice group and is based out of Los Angeles. She works with academic medical centers, hospitals, surgery centers, foundations and clinics, medical groups/IPAs, in-vitro fertilization and reproductive service providers, telehealth companies, MSOs, and other entities affiliated with the healthcare industry. Alex works closely with clients on transactional matters, and advises on multi-state expansion and growth, hospital/physician alignment, joint ventures, acquisitions, and other strategic transactions. In connection with these transactions, her practice also includes providing regulatory counsel with respect to federal and state compliance with physician self-referral, anti-kickback, licensing and certification, and other healthcare compliance matters.

As a former senior in-house counsel for two national health care systems, Sarah Swank provides strategic, regulatory and operational advice to health systems, hospitals and academic medical centers, as well as large national and regional physician organizations and telehealth and other startups.

Patrick Bont is the Chief Risk Officer of VP Bank. In his role he oversees the bank's risk, legal, and compliance functions.
Before joining VP Bank, he was Head of the Banking Division and FinTech Practice Leader at the Liechtenstein Financial Market Authority. He was also a member of the government workgroup drafting Liechtenstein's "Trusted Technology Law", also known as the "Blockchain Act".
Patrick holds a master's degree in law from the University of St. Gallen, an LL.M. from the University of Liechtenstein, and an Executive MBA in Digital Transformation from the University of Applied Sciences Chur.
